Coming & Going

It appears that a vampire has taken interest in our green lands. So far some distance away, so don't worry yet.
The bad news are that another dead Count that can't quit and stay below ground has been seen around Smalltown, some 12 miles down the coast. This vampire Count Me'in'this has brought along some ghoul retainers as well as some dregs from some unknown parts of human society. At the same time the Count was debarking the ship, a large group of rats abandoned ship down the anchor-line. Some time later a bunch of orcs arrived on a large troll-oared raft. The troll was seen eating the last of the 20 goblins that set out to sea just before the raft reached the shore.
The Count and the green bunch has not been seen lately, but neither has anyone seen them depart.
The last arrival is a band of those elves that are called 'dark'. Do not mistake this, the 'dark' refer to the inner of these elves, they are rather nasty and not nice. You do not want any of these to date your daughter.

Local fighting

Soon after coming ashore, a band of rats was seen beating the dead count. Possibly the counts dregs and ghouls was weakened by having just committed some heavy violence toward the band of orcs.

Distant rumbles

Some time ago in a distant part of the jungle, there has been some fighting going on. According to rumour, the main participants has been a local vampire and his dead blokes on the one side and an unknown band of half naked girls on or possibly elves on the other side.
A local elf band tried to tangle with the parties involved, but due to the victory celebration being held before the fighting, the elf leader lost his stomach and withdrew soon from the fighting.

Local skinks stirred

It is rumoured that some of the hamlets nearby are rather tired of being attacked all day long by treasure hunters. There has been some talk about fighting back. Treasure hunters are adviced to prepare to fight some kind of local militia next time they want to loot a native settlement.

Being green

This time The Jungle Times proudly present a short interview with the orc bozz Light Year:
Yer, me an' da blokes smached dis pair of wimpy elves back in da ol' land. Dey had been over 'eare an' got rich. So I packed da boyz and sailed over da sea. We had 'bout 20 gobbos at start, and dats why we aint starved dead. I've got a trolz, big guy - wanna buy 'im? He aint too bright and are hard to get moving, he can't hit shit but damz he is 'ard hitting.
...(later on)...
We stumbled into some zombies an' ghouls. One ghoul took care of da trolz with no sweat. One right to da stomach and one left to da mouth an' down he go. Must have dammaged his brain. Can't follow orders anymore - just stand there looking stupid.
